1. What we collect

We may collect limited technical and usage information when you visit, depending on your cookie choice. This can include pages viewed, approximate geographic region, browser and device type, referral source, and interaction events. We do not intentionally collect the contents of PDFs because there is no upload feature. The machine in the hero section is CSS and therefore cannot be trusted with paperwork.

2. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-KXP0DXV7BC. The Google tag is not loaded until you consent to analytics cookies through our cookie panel. If you reject analytics, we do not intentionally activate Google Analytics on your visit.

3. Necessary local storage

We use browser local storage to remember your cookie preference. This is necessary to keep the cookie banner from repeatedly materializing like an unclosed Acrobat warning. You can clear the preference through your browser storage controls or reopen Cookie Settings in the footer.

4. Contact information

If you email wreckage@asaservice.app or privacy@asaservice.app, we receive the information you include in the message, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your inquiry. Do not send sensitive documents. We cannot ruin what we never received, which is presently our strongest security control.

5. How we use information

• To understand whether visitors encounter, enjoy, or flee the website.
• To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve site performance.
• To respond to inquiries and privacy requests.
• To detect abuse, security problems, or unusually serious attempts to purchase fictional document destruction.

6. Sharing and service providers

We may share limited information with service providers used to host and operate the website, including DreamHost and, only after analytics consent, Google Analytics. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy practices. We do not sell personal information, rent it, barter it for printer toner, or trade it for a clean copy of Helvetica.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for no longer than reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. Our standard retention period is 14 months, unless a shorter period is appropriate or a longer period is required for legal, security, or recordkeeping reasons. Google Analytics retention settings should also be configured to 14 months in the GA4 property.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. To exercise a privacy right, email privacy@asaservice.app. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, mostly to avoid deleting the wrong person from the wrong imaginary enterprise dashboard.

9. International visitors

The website is operated from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and similar jurisdictions can refuse optional analytics before the Google tag loads.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to this small informational website. No internet transmission or storage system is perfectly secure. Happily, the site’s fake dashboard statistics are already beyond repair and contain no customer data.

11. Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Children already understand broken PDFs instinctively and require no enterprise platform.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website, our tools, or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated. Material changes may be announced with a notice, rather than hidden on page 38 in six-point gray text.
